    PORTLAND INJURY UPDATE

    PORTLAND, Ore. (Oct. 23, 2013) - Portland guard Wesley Matthews experienced an irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation) today during practice.

    Matthews underwent an electrical cardioversion procedure this afternoon and his heartbeat has returned to normal.

    He did not travel with the team to Oakland and is out for tomorrow night's preseason game at Golden State and is listed day-to-day.

    Damn, that means our expected starting line-up for the 2013-14 regular season of Dame-Wes-Nic-LMA-Lopez was never used in pre-season. What a shame.

    Fucking unbelievable how many injuries and freak ailments this team has had to withstand in the last six years. It being Wes makes me think we're cursed.

    Speaking of LA, any update on him?

    I'm a huge Wes fan so this pre-season has been a little painful for me as I watch Wes struggle and then hear this scary news.

    I don't understand, though...what 140x80 pixel image really represents me? I mean, by using the egg I can do the passive-aggressive "I'm not giving in to The Man by making myself dance to his stupid 'one pic that represents you' b.s." I can say "I don't believe in that, but they make me have something, so I'll just go with default. Eff the Man, save the Empire!"

    On facebook everyone kept yelling at me to change the gray box at the top, so eventually my wife just posted a picture of my kids. That's ok for facebook, I guess...but ain't nobody got time for that on twitter. I mean, if I looked like you or Wookie then I'd totally post a picture of myself and gain massive street cred. Or maybe I should borrow Kass' old one.
