He's never voted, he's a heroin addict, and all he does is criticize the status quo (which is admirable), but without offering solutions (which is not at all productive). Um, what's the point of his tirade, other than to get his name in the news? I forgot about this no-talent douchebag. Didn't he play some rock star in a few films?
Haven't heard or seen of him since he played Jonah Hill's sidekick in that turd Get Him to the Greek. Maybe he has the key to life, though. He did fuck Katy Perry repeatedly as a (failed) career boost. I'm guessing we won't hear again from him anytime soon, either.
Russell Brand makes a living on having a very quick wit and an extensive vocabulary. He's admitted as much before, he's still quite funny and quite intelligent. Sent from my banana using Tapatalk 4
I like the idea of what he is saying (those in charge really don't give a rats ass about the vast majority of us, and we're using the earth up), but still can't stand him. And I'm not sure why it is I can't stand him.
The Robert Smith look is a bit tired but he actually doesn't seem to have a lot of pretensions. He also has a nice bit on some MSNBC show (Scarborough?) where he takes the hosts to task. He's a comedian so social commentary is well within his wheelhouse.
I'm curious what some people think about his message about not voting? I basically agree with that stance expect that he doesn't acknowledge that there are third parties to vote for. It's effectively the same as not voting, but at least you are skewing the polls just that much in favor for what you believe in.
Don't vote for democrats or republicans, or anything they are trying to pass. When enough people do this we will finally be able to sneak in the blazer party candidate who will support unreasonable subsidies to all blazer fans, at which point all people will become blazer fans, except for an underground section of society, free thinkers, who will always rage against the totalitarian status quo, aka jazz fans
I'm not sure I agree with his belief about not voting, but I do find it funny how people dismiss him based solely on the fact he's a comedian. I don't see how he's any less qualified to express his opinion about something than anyone else. Obviously he's probably done more research than most of us here have on the subject.
