he had very good a showing at the World Basketball Championships, and now he'll have his first full season with the Orlando Magic. Is anyone besides me expecting big things out of Darko this year?

He showed good things last year. A break out season for Darko would just mean 7 and 6 or something. I think he will have alot better of a season.

I think his stats can go to 12 and 8, but that's about it. He'll still do huge numbers in the blocking category, that's about it. I don't expect too much of Darko, but if he does have an insane year, I won't be surprised.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BCB? @ Sep 25 2006, 03:48 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Darko was in great shape last year...</div>Well then the reports are true!!!!!!!!! HURRAY REPORTS!!!!!!! REPORT RESPONSIBLY. XEROX. IT REPORTS. HOORAY REPORTS.I think he will because they don't have a lot of depth. Basically just D12, Darko, and Battie backing them up. He has support now, and without that awful hair, he's gonna rip it up methinks
I definetly think he will. I hated when people called him busts when he never really got a chance. He's a talented player and showed signs of that last year when given the chance. This year I think he will have a pretty good season.
hes already a 2bpg player with little minutes. The worse that can happen is he turns into a Samuel Dalembert or something. I think he'll breakout this year with about 12 and 9 and 2.5bpg.
I think 19 and 9 are a bit too big I would say9ppg 4-6rpg He is battling the boards with Howard and with 3 bpg.
His confidence should be sky high right now, I expect to see 8-5 numbers next season.I love his shot blocking ability.
He should have a good season. Considering he is playing next to Dwight, he will get alot of open looks downlow which should help him out alot. Also, the better interior defender will always be on Dwight. His defensive skills are fairly polished. He just needs some playing time and some touches and he should have a good season.
I honestly don't ever see him 'breaking out'. I see him making steady improvements year by year to become a solid player. I don't think he'll be all-star worthy like most people.
I think Darko is gonna be a Very good player.. IMO I think he should play the PF and howard the center... With howard JJ and nelson this should leave Darko with some open shots
im assuming none of you followed him throughout the world championship where he did very well. usually pulling down around 19pts and 9rbs

He averages 6 ppg for his career...
Yeah but Arroyo actually got minutes in the NBA so hes at least had the opportunity to play and show what he can do
