Arsenal maintained their position at the top of the table this morning, defeating Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst in South London. Mikel Arteta scored on a penalty won by Serge Gnabry and Olivier Giroud added a late header to secure three points despite Arteta being sent-off on a dodgy last man back tackle on former Gunner Marouane Chamakh. Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny was the Man of the Match with one of the best saves of his career against Mile Jedinak.
