Article in the Post arguing for Sather to bring in Prospal. Can't say I disagree with that idea, he was productive last year for CBJ. Article also said Sather has had some talks with Prospal's camp. ANYTHING to get Pyatt off the top 3 lines. Is there anybody in the entire league who contributes less yet gets his minutes?

Playing well tonight. Of course dumb penalty by Pyatt. The two guys who need to go now are MDZ and Pyatt. Boyle is fine if played in the right role, on the 4th line. Pyatt is utterly useless, and MDZ needs to be moved now.
Pyatt just has to go. That penalty was a killer. Pyatt and MDZ need to be off this team. Enough Glen, get something done to get those two off this team.

Pyatt is awful. Terrible. Useless. Cannot believe AV continues to send this guy out there. Great penalty you god damn traffic cone. MDZ doesnt necessarily HAVE to be off the team, he's not a bad defenseman. He just hasn't lived up to his potential and can probably fetch a good return. Big difference between him and guy like Pyatt.
Yeah, MDZ is not utterly useless like Pyatt we agree there for sure. Pyatt is terrible. Someone needs to tell me what he does well. I guess you can say he is strong on the boards, but that gets buried by all the awful stuff he does, and he is slow as a turtle. And if he never ever scores, who cares if he bangs on the wall. As for DZ, we can get something for him, and quite honestly his role on this team has gone down and down. Now is the time, or you commit to signing him for 3 years at 3 or 4 mill per this summer.
chuck, I like del z but agree at this point he needs to go while his value is still good and get us a forward that can put the puck in the god damn net. and while we're at it can we release the friggin hobbit already and get some more size in there. Lindberg needs to be up here
Yes, we still have a lot of main players out nash, cally and hags but that being said you are right sather needs to use our excess D and get us another scoring forward from somewhere
