This offseason can get even more interesting if nash doesn't come back with the concussion and worse at least his 2nd in a short period the last one from a definite penalty but not imo an earth shattering hit that a lot of healthy guys walk away from. As much as we've all talked about buying out richards if nash doesn't come back for a long time and you know any future hit not even involving a hit high could cause another one do the rangers maybe buyout nash and keep the healthy richards or buyout nash and trade richards if their worried about future injury to him killing their cap. This nash concussion problem turning into a real kick in the balls for the rangers.
This will get me ripped apart in here, but right this minute that Nash trade hasn't been good for us. His cap hit is huge and long. He was an invisible ghost in the playoffs. We way underperformed as a team last season. And now he has head issues, and who knows when he will be back (hasn't even practiced yet). Now I loved the trade, and would have made it 101 out of 100 times, but the truth is the truth right now.
Chuck, not a rip but th enash trade on paper was a good trade for us giving us what we needed. What has fucked everything up are the 2 god damn concussions that look like they may put his career in jeopardy
Amen, like I said I make that deal EVERY SINGLE TIME, but the truth is the truth right now, it hasn't worked out in our favor SO FAR. That can change though. We'll see.
Only can change if he comes back healthy and that may mean the type of long time off that stahl needed before he came back from his concussion.
