    Re: Larry Hughes GOOD fit!

Alot of people wanted Ray Allen, Michael Redd, Joe Johnson even but I was begging for them to go else were and for hughes to go to cleveland and not stay with the wizards.Ray Allen-Yes he is one great player and he can put up some great points but u got to see he is a star and he wants the ball ALOT and we kno James is out Star so Allen was a no go from the start.Michael Redd-I hear he would of been GREAT with the Cavaliers but Redd is also a Star even tho u don't see him on a all star team he leads the Bucks to the playoffs and more. Redd was NEVER going to be a Cavalier get over it.Joe Johnson-I hear once again he would be great in cleveland and that he is better then Hughes and that Joe was the right fit. Now don't get me wrong Joe is great but IMO he is NOT better then Larry Hughes. Hughes avg more Points then Joe in 2003-2004 season and avg more steals those were the main stats we talk about.*Larry Hughes-Now for the right fit for Cleveland Larry Hughes he is dif from the 3 up top he does not want the ball alot he has played with All star players befor (A.I, Gilbert, Now James) He knows his role. I could go on and on about how Hughes is the Right Fit For the Cavaliers but the matter of the fact is he is here and he is staying with the Cavaliers! There is only on problem with Hughes and that is that he gets hurt alot yes but if u would just wait one more season befor u juge him. Alot of people say he can't shoot are crazy the reason u say that is because he was hurt and his hand was killing him but he played because he had to get ready for the playoffs. All I'm saying is give it time let's not worrie about the SG spot nor the SF spot and let's talk about the PG spot because that is still a "?" and also work on Drews D-# we re-signed him yeah but we need some help on that D-#.

The one thing people are overlooking this offseason is the return of Larry Hughes, it's never mentioned anywhere. If this guy can stay healthy and gel with the team Cleveland could run the table in the central this year.

yeah, hughes is a good fit, but the cavs would be undeniably better if they had ray allen or michael redd. 3-point shooting was what Cleveland was lacking last year. you don't think Ray or Redd would've helped with that?

Hands down Allen is better then Hughes and maybe even Redd but I was hoping they woldn't come they are all stars and they want to be the star and in Cleveland thats LeBron James spot!Hughes played with A.I, Gilbert he knows his role VERY gald we got him and peopel need to give him one more shot this season!

I think if he was a good fit on cleveland as he was on washington his stats would show it. However, they do not.

When your hurt from the start of the season how good u want him to be?He did pretty good in some games but others he just was out of it because of his hand. This Season I see Hughes braking out and having one great season along side the king LeBron James.

I like his style of game but you can't really sit here and convince me this guy is an unbelievable fit for the Cavaliers. His games played have steadily gone downhill since 01-02. He could have a breakout year and if he does the Cavs will be deep in the playoffs in the east. It's tough to say a guy is going to have a breakout year when he gets injured consistently every season.

    Re: Larry Hughes GOOD fit!

hopefully this is his year.he is one of the top defenders in the NBA IMO and he's a great support player to Lebron and the Cavs have a great core for years to come..oh yeah, I think Lebron, larry, and Snow can handle the PG spot allright between them. The lineup I like in Cleveland:James | Snow | HughesHughes | JonesMarshall | James | HughesGooden | Marshall | VarejaoIlgauzgas | Varejao

I don't see James playing PG nor Marshell starting. It will be the same as last season.Gooden has gotton much better and even on D-# he is shwoing that he got better.I think the cavs have a really good shot here and if Hughes doesn't get hurt.. Look out....
