Going 107MPH in a 2013 Porsche feels like going 65 in a Honda. T-Rob was probably in complete control.

There is a car I would want to drive going through the Terwilliger curves.

If I were driving a Panamera, aka the ugliest luxury car ever built, I would want to get to my destination fast to avoid being seen in it.

Not sure how to break it to you, HCP, but your wife was with me that night. I'm pretty sure that was Blazer Prophet whispering to you...

Today must be Monday, it took me a nearly five minutes for me to get past, "why would fake game tickets with his autograph on them be funny?"

No way. That's just typical, edgy Lambo design.

Uh, no it isn't. I drive an Infiniti G35 and I am well aware when I am doing 80 or 90 mph, much less 107. Same thing was true when I owned a BMW.

Believe it or not shooter, some people speed and don't pay attention. It happens . . . which is why they don't make it a felony or a misdemeanor or even a crime. It is a violation and he, like many of us, will have to pay money for his mistake.

If you think someone can drive a vehicle--any vehicle--at 107 mph and not know they are speeding, I have a bridge I want to sell you.

There is a difference between knowing you are speeding and knowing you are going 107.

I have had to slow myself down numerous times not realizing how fast of a speed I got up to (I knew I was above the speed limit but not by as much as the speedometer said). Heck the 1-5 let's you do 70 during stretches. Very easy to lose track of exactly how fast you are going, especially on those long drives making good time . . . not that I would know. :)

I can barely twist the grip on my CBR and I'm going 95.

This. Going 107mph in a Porsche (assuming extremely light traffic) isn't nearly as unsafe as many of you are making it out to be. That car's handling is rock solid with absolutely massive brakes. Also, Ramon hit black ice - we haven't had freezing conditions yet. No similarity.

You young guys sure waste your money. I just pull out my whip and Old Nelly pulls me faster. I don't have to whip the old girl very often.

It's similar in that speeding isn't safe, even if you're in a safer car and its not slick.
