I heard Jay Z challenged Nas to a rap battle for 2 million dollars a couple years ago, Nas has yet to accept.My question is who would win in a rap battle, Nas or JayZ?

^^ thank youNas is light years better than Jay. Jay has some really good sh*t, MTV just blows him up to be amazing when he's a notch below Nas. Nas is the best rapper ever. Period.
In a freestyle? Nas would destroy him, he is one of the better freestylers/pure rappers of all time, and Jay-Z is just a good rapper, freestyle or written.
Nas but Jay-Z is more what hood nigz want to be not.. friggin preachers.This is from what I know and hear from people here in nyc. Majority of Rap listners want the Btchs money chains etc.,Plus note southbeasts reaction to Jay-z, Nas is on that but too much of a preacher. Nas would win in a battle though. as said above ETHER.
I think Nas would be better in a rap battle than JayZ, but as far as in the songs they have already made I must say I like what JayZ has said about Nas better than what Nas has said about Jay Z. Mostly because what Jay Z says is based on facts, and true statements about record sales and things that really happened, while Nas just decides to clown on Jay Z because of what he looks like and other stuff. Ether was rough, but I think Take Over was just as good.
