I admit I don't understand this one. I don't understand how Pyatt stays on this team and Fast is sent down. Or why Kristo or Lindberg are in the minors while Pyatt is still here. It is a mystery to me.

We can't score, so let's be sure and keep Pyatt up.

Bummer to see Fast go. The kids need to be up getting used to the NHL and AV's system, not in Hartford in favor of Pyatt and other scrubs that need to go.

Only thing I can think of is that Fast and Hagelin look to be similar players, except Hagelin is obviously much farther along in his development. Real quick, smallish guys who are excellent on the PK. Having Hagelin, Zucc, and Fast all in the lineup makes this team pretty small. Maybe that's their reasoning for sitting Fast.

Of course, the counter argument is what's the use of playing a big guy like Pyatt if he doesn't have the slightest clue how to use that size. God he is useless.

Hagelin should help but this team needs Cally and Nash back asap.

Really upset by this. Thought Fast was starting to find himself here and even though he hadn't scored, was great on the PK and slowly finding his way in the offensive zone.

I really thought Fast being so young should play a year in the AHL. Kristo is 23 and I thought he showed enough in the pre-season to be on this team. I'd prefer him up here. He's the oldest of the top prospects.
