Oh wow! Well that's cool. So we build a team that's fun to watch and never made it past the first round. Sounds exciting!!!!

I think they might've reached the ECF vs Boston?

The GM remained anonymous because he doesn't want to get fired for incompetence, and game-rigging.

He admits he has no skills pertinent to his position and reveals a glaring ignorance of how other GMs have built winners. He says he plans to win by cheating and committing felonies.

He belongs in the loser thread.

True tanking (i.e. actively trying to lose, as opposed to simply refusing to break the bank trying to win a few more games now) is detrimental to the sport as whole, regardless of any benefits it may provide to individual teams. I'd love to have some sort of relegation/promotion system to keep lower-tier teams honest.

They should go to the old format where it's ping pong balls with the teams logo on them. Of the lotto teams, the worst team gets 14 balls, the best team gets one ball. The worst team only has a 13% of getting the number 1 pick.

I know it says Anonymous GM but does anyone think this could have come from Michael Jordan?

Just to be clear, they already had David "Fucking" Robinson, who got injured, so they tanked, and got Duncan. They really had no need to tank again. Elite teams, with good management, seem to have a way of staying that way, especially since Tim "Hall of Fame" Duncan has been part of every single year of their success.

I like that. Something clearly has to be done. At the same time, it would be nice if there were a way to stop players from colluding to create super teams, or superstars from forcing themselves to big markets. Even once is too many. This league really needs more parity and more turnover of the really good teams, for the sake of the fans and the excitment of the sport.
