Really? You consider records of 4-4 12-14 14-7 9-11 19-5 13-12 14-14 13-9 and 12-10 to consist of more than 1 solid season? I understand the whole run support not being there, but the guy has had only 1 solid season.
W/L records are one of the worst ways to rate a pitcher. If a pitcher strikes out 27 guys a game, and has a 1.00 era, never walks anyone, hits .400, never throws a wild pitch, and throws a complete game every time out, but goes 0-20, is that his fault?
Which year is his "one solid year"? 2009 when he went 19-5 and finished 2nd in cy young voting? Because he lead the league in era and IP in 2010 when he went 13-12...and WON the cy young
The guy has a career 3.2 ERA... He is a top 10 pitcher in the MLB at the very least. Closer to top 5. Run support IS the reason why his record isn't great.
