Can anybody on this team find the net with any consistency?

They control the 1st and first 5 minutes of the 2nd where they waste another powerplay by putting shot after shot into Nabakov's midsection. The Islander's catch a break, steal the puck and come down and go top shelf. My question is, why is it so hard for this team to do the same thing. They make it to damn easy for the goaltender (any goaltender) to see the puck and make the saves. It's almost as if they cannot put it in the goalie's midsection, then they will not be able to put it on goal ... just a rant

The boardwork is great but you can't score unless you get shots. Kreider looks good again but he needs to get shots and stop deferring all the time.

Pyatt is a perfect example of a guy who just puts it into the gut of the goalie almost every time. If he knew how to hit a corner he would score 30 goals.

They need a veteran goal scorer. Don't know who yet, but they need a veteran.

Side not: I am sick and tired of seeing goals go in off of the defense.

They get plenty of opportunities, just don't know how to score

They're not facing the greatest goalie in the world every single night. At some point you have to bury some of these chances.

Pouliot had a golden chance and didn't shoot.

For the life of me, I don't know why DZ is still playing in NY. They need to trade him, while they can still get something for him.

Looks like the GE 100 watt is going on for Kreider.

DZ is now a liability, you cringe whenever he's around the puck.

He's scared. He plays scared and is afraid of getting hit. He's soft and should go play in the KHL where they don't hit so he can stop being afraid.

Kreider is playing like a man possessed. Just needs to get some points, either goals or assists.

Kreider and Zucc have been our best players tonight (minus the dumb penalty Zucc took).

Hopefully Pouliot gets on a little bit of a hot streak, he's one of the only guys who can beat a goalie from beyond 15 feet right now.

yeah, Zuc looked good tonight as well. I thought Boyle played well also. I'd just like to see them begin scoring more goals.

Zucc has been BRINGING IT. Kreider too. Best game I've seen in awhile.

Nice to see a big guy (Kreider) stand in front of the net and make a difference. A shame that Boyle can't do the same.
