Nah, the asian gangs in Portland these days are pretty weak. More into like computer fraud and scamming people than turf wars. Worst part of Portland these days is easily Rockwood.

I'm out in SE off 82nd and Division/Powell area and its all asian. I always want to go into these little asian specialty stores where they're curing meats and stuff.

You needed to get out more. Basically all the black people in the entire state were in one spot, N.E.P.

Why aren't there more Black people in Oregon?

I don't think this really answers the question, but it was interesting anyway.

Interesting list.... But the skiing ranking makes it a questionable list to begin with.

So, as I look over that ranking list....... West Linn is the best city to live that has little to no amenities (I take this to mean businesses because we have great public works and related amenities). Every city ranked above it is #1 in amenities. So, if it weren't for Cost of Living and amenities, West Linn is probably the best city in Oregon. Not to say that I don't care about those two, but of the things they used to rank the cities, besides skiing (WTF??), those are the two I care least about. I don't want to live near sprawling strip malls and fast food restaurants, and I'm thankful I don't. I live in the Willamette Area, which anyone who has ever explored the Old Town area knows that's a pretty cool place to hang (albeit small).

Cost of living...... we do pay A LOT in property taxes. But that's why we have the #2 education rank, nice parks, good libraries, and all-around good public works. And anything more about cost of living will come out wrong, so let's just say I enjoy my clean city with solid public works with little/no crime and nothing to complain about (aside from a couple of my pretentious neighbors). So that list has WL right where I'd want it to be for the city I choose to live in.

I think the funny thing from that list is how Gresham has a better crime rating than Portland.
