Yeah no being gouged by the oil companies. It is speculators that drive up the price on the world market

I believe that China is now the largest consumer of oil, and I also agree that profits are being made there.

I fail to understand your position on Keystone or the oil terminal in Vantuckey

Keystone has been on obamas plate for five years, and he has still not made a decision, I suppose that could be considered "Bullshit". The jobs in Vancouver will make the price of oil go up? I dont get where you are coming from with this reasoning. The whole idea is to take a product that produces a quality of oil that we can not burn in the US and send it to places that can and will consume it. The best place to send it from that benefits this region is the post of Vancouver. The number of jobs is very few directly, I agree, but at a time where every job that pays more than flipping cheese burgers is important, I would welcome thirty to fifty dollar an hour employment.

My understanding on this subject, is that the oil they are producing is going to leave the country. It will increase/feed the appetite of Asia. Which will increase our costs as well. I love world peace, but I too want our country to succeed over other countries.

Again, the coal oil we are sending overseas is a product that is too dirty or of a poor quality that we are not allowed to use in this country as it is. The product in not cost effective to refine to the point that it can be used here. Where it is being sole they can smash it spank it and bank it.

Sorry I did a poor job of reading the first time. I would then default to the "clean environment" argument. Not fiscally sound right away, but long term it's better for us.

Arguing about the most efficient way to make sure we never switch to renewable energy sources. Like fiddling while the ship sinks.
