Yeah but it was the early years of 24 hour spots radio. It was annoying to listen to on the radio.

Speaking of centers.......how about Mcgee? 13 minutes tonight. Even the Denver announcers were
mentioning his mental errors. Where are the McGee lovers tonight?

Should have made the trade for Jordan though... he's beasting. I wonder what LAC wanted though.

It probably would've ended up being a massive blockbuster 3 team deal, something like this IMO:

Portland Receives: Jordan, Jimmy Butler, and the Bobcats pick that the Bulls own.

Los Angeles Receives: Deng, Leonard, and some future pick from the Bulls.

    Chicago Receives: Aldridge and Matthews.

We probably then would've re-signed Hickson and still end up with the additions of Lopez, Robinson, Wright, and Williams. Kinda would've been cool (yet hard to get over LA's production) to see the Blazers look like this:

    Lillard / Williams
    Butler / McCollum / Barton / Crabbe
    Batum / Wright
    Hickson / Robinson
    Jordan / Lopez

Lopez shut down the paint, blocking Denver's bigs on multiple occasions while Freeland was a terror on the offensive glass when he was in there. His back-to-back offensive rebounds in the second-half led to two 3's, which shifted momentum big time in our favor.

for the future it will be interesting to see how the Asik situation in HOU develops and if he gets traded, he would be a great fit IMO, however don't know if we have enuf to work out a deal that leaves us "intact"

Houston will want Aldridge back in a trade. But then again, I have a feeling Aldridge will end up with one of the three Texas teams eventually anyway.
