Pyatt takes a penalty as usual. They're overmatched a little by Carolinas size up front.

Team is really starting to play well and they are missing probably their 2 best forwards. Kreider in front of the net on the PP....Hmmm, what a novel idea.

Team is playing well. They still need another fwd and to get healthy but this team is going to be fine this year if Nash comes back

There's the dreaded goal under a minute in the period.

I hate stupid penalties, and Dorsett's retaliation penalty against Murphy was a stupid penalty.

I liked the penalty Dorsett took. I'll like it better if they are up 5-1 and pummel Murphy with a few minutes left in the game. This team has been taking cheap shots way too often with nothing done about it.

I don't mind him going after Murphy, just the timing. Should have saved it for later ...

Somebody worked with Kreider on slowing the game down and processing things. He's not just speedskating from pt A to B anymore.

Another nice goal by Step/Kreider/Zuc....Some D breakdowns saved by Hank

Its amazing how much better teams play when they are not playing all their games 3,000 miles from home starting games at 10 pm at night for 2 weeks.

Kreider does the dirty work, gets the puck to zucc and beautiful pass to stepan who nails it for his second and 4-1 lead. This game is over

Getting the speed of CK and Hagelin back in the lineup really helped.

The people "concerned" about Stepan can settle down now also...:).

Another very good performance and solid win. Good to see. And Cally will be back this upcoming week as well. Team is almost at full strength finally, only Nash is out still, and he could be out for a long time sadly.

With these guys all back, the lines don't look that bad.

I also think Dorsett has been playing really strong hockey recently. When he doesn't take numerous dumb penalties he is an asset for this team for sure. I like his game a lot.

Stepan and Kreider are going to be the next great ranger twosome.
