Utterly useless. Does nothing well to warrant spot on this team, let alone the top minutes and PK time he gets for whatever reason.

He's a joke... and I know Pouliot had a great game last night but I'm not sold on him either.

I am sold on Pouliot. He's big, fast, has some scoring touch and he hits a ton which I didn't expect. He's what your role players should Pyatt. Pyatt, well, he just sucks.

Pouliot's issue is not talent. On talent alone the guy is a good player who can score 15-20 goals per season. His issue is effort. If he keeps his effort high, plays hard, hits hard, and goes all out, he will be very good for us. The issue is can he do that for the majority of the 82 game season. We'll see...

I have to disagree. Theres a reason this guy has ended up on 5 different teams since being drafted 4th overall in 2005. Look, I hope I'm wrong and he puts up 20g 20a this season while playing solid 2nd/3rd line minutes. But lets also remember this is something he has never done with his best season coming in at 16g 16a on Bruins team that lost in the 1st round.

Based on the scoring chances he has had already in the first nine games he should have a couple more goals to go with the one he scored against the Red Wings. Now is his time step up with key injuries on the team... lets see if he does.

The reason is because he floats in and out and doesn't always play hard. It is sad that he can't get himself to play hard game in and game out, but that is reality based on what I have seen, and read about him.

And I am not saying he'll score 15-20 goals here, I am saying he has the talent to do it IMO. Like you, I have no clue if he will do it here. Let's hope he does...we need it.

He reminds me of Laflamme from the movie Goon.

Another classic Pyatt moment. Takes a dumb penalty and then the moron can't stay on-sides when even Avery could have. That's how bad this guy sucks.

Pyatt is pretty much just above average PK guy. When Cally comes back, there is no point of keeping him.

Pyatt's awful at all phases of the game, AV has pretty much used every player on the PK this year so Pyatt doesn't merit a roster spot for this reason. The least he could do is throw a body check. I like Pouliot, after the 16/16 season in Boston he followed with 20 points in 34 games in Tampa last year, can only help this offense.
