This board was in full meltdown mode after that BS west coast trip........This team still has flaws, they probably need another fwd even when healthy and they definitely need a PP QB. It's a long season....This team is going to be in the mix

Kreider is a huge key. So far so good

They need another forward for sure, deal MDZ for one, but they are playing really well right now and it is good to see. And the lines are pretty decent also with everyone outside of Nash back. If they added another decent forward who could score 20 or so, I really think we'd be in very solid shape upfront.

Kreider is a huge key. When I started that Kreider is killing us thread weeks ago, this is why. For this team to be a good team Kreider must contribute in a decent way. The team makeup dictates we need him to be a producer, and it is no surprise to me that as soon as he comes up and starts playing well, the team did the same.

And Hags adds another dimension also. He is an important player for this team even if he is only a 15 or so goal guy. His speed really opens things up for everyone else.

Good stuff to watch right now. I am enjoying it.

If Nash can somehow get back by New Years that would be great. Who knows though. They should try and get Frolik from Winnepeg who's an RFA, maybe for a prospect and pick.

when I mentioned we needed Hags back badly, you laughed at me. Now you see why you need him in the lineup.

I don't remember laughing at you, or you saying we needed Hags back badly, but I will take your word for it...LOL.

It's not really one player it's getting secondary scoring in general. Also Hank is in mud season form now and Talbot has played well enough to use him sporadically which is impt.

All this is great but they need Nash

To have bigger dreams, yes they need Nash back. The fact that we hear nothing about him at all, and he hasn't practiced at all since going out, isn't good. But we need to hope he turns that corner sometime soon, and be happy that we are playing well right now, and Cally will be back this week.

Whats nice is that we are watching the Rangers play an attacking style of offense, as well as getting stronger on defense. Seems kind of weird watching the defense try and push the puck up the ice, instead of watching the entire team packing it in, in front of Hank trying to block 50 shots a game. I still don't think they are their yet, but they are definitely on their way and once they arrive they will be a serious contender for a cup.

Monday will be a big test ...

Kreider should have been up from the onset, the idea that he needed a handful of Pack games to get his head right is ridiculous. CK came here ready to play and performed in the highest of pressure situations only to be smacked down by the jealous divarella, his mistreatment would have messed with any young player's head.

I don't think MDZ is going anywhere since Glen wouldn't include him in any trades last year. Good for Glen, I like Del Zotto, most of the criticism of his play on this board is more akin to what one might find on an American Idol board, stop hating on the guy he's not going anywhere and he doesn't mind playing in NYC. Stralman is the guy who needs to go. The Rangers can release him and rest assured that no other team will pick him up should they need to fill an injury gap.
