This is pretty fucking awesome. I don't have to DVR any games anymore. I can watch it on my iPad, iPhone or Apple TV. It was cool because I DVR recorded the SAS game and realized I put the wrong channel. I went to game time and was able to watch the entire game!

    Thank you nba

Don't they blackout the blazer games though?

It's great for you, but TERRIBLE for people who actually live in the city the team they love is in. I don't pay for cable for personal reasons, and never will again... But, to put the blackout restrictions into perspective. I still can't re-watch the PHX game from Wednesday.

It's a flat out joke if you live within the limits of your team. So, no LP for me either, based on this.

Yeah it was a little annoying but still awesome when I was waiting in lines at universal. I could imagine it's buggy until they really work shit out

In terms of other sport packages, LP is leap years BEHIND the others.

MLB has the best. So many features it's uncanny. One of the best: during live games, you can turn off the announcers and just have the sounds of the game. Loved it.

And their blackout policy is much kinder, only 90 minute delay. NBA is just stupid. Also, MLB has had the option of having both broadcasts for awhile... NBA just releasing it as "new" is sad.

Well you would think they would allow you to watch the game after. I think it's weird that you are completely cut off

Yeah. I have no idea why it's cut off that long. It makes no sense. But, the NBA has made no bones about being more about greed than anything.

Ah well, I like Wheels enough. I can handle it.

Yeah I would dump a lot of money into league pass if I actually got Warriors games. I looked into xfinity and direcTV in October only because I wanted to get the W's games for the upcoming season. Unfortunately you have to pay for all kinds of extra bullshit with those services (DVRs, fees increase after a certain period of time, CSN Bay Area only offered in certain expensive packages) so I just decided to try my luck with getting the games from alternative sources.

Smart move. Don't let the cable companies win!

I did hear, however, that by 2025, Cable Companies could become obsolete due to the rise of netflix, hulu, etc. I can't wait for that day!!!

I use this app called spotflux for my Mac and iPhone and it allows you to watch the blazer games. Not sure what is available for PC and droids but it didn't require any tweaking to get it to work. I recommend giving it a try or any other openVPN apps out there. It's also free.

It says it just allows you to browse privately... how does spotflux work for viewing games?

I think it doesn't allow nba game time or league pass know your location so they can't blackout the games.
