    Analysis: The Blazers actually are trying to make the playoffs in a very crowded Western Conference. But if they don’t, the draft is the upside. Cauley-Stein hasn’t even begun to realize his potential. He was very raw at Kentucky last season, but when he got it going, everyone could easily see great things to come. The Blazers don’t really need another center, but Cauley-Stein’s versatility might allow him to back up LaMarcus Aldridge.

    Please change the title to "Charlotte Bobcats" since us getting the 12th pick would mean they get our draft pick.

    ...then move this to OT because it doesn't affect the Blazers.

    First, Ford thinks the Blazers are the 12th worst team in the league? Ouch.

    Second, he thinks "the Blazers don't really need another center"? Huh? Well, I guess we don't need a center who can't play. But if the kid can play, we need him.

    If you miss the playoffs, you're a lotto team. Bottom 14, perhaps, but it's not out of the ordinary for a team with a record worse than the lotto teams to make the playoffs.

    Speaking of Shabazz (in the hashtag) he sure fell off the map. I called it last year and everyone was laughing at me.

    I haven't heard a peep about him, though, except for that hotel incident.
