Just as he did with the East, here is the west. I pretty much agree with the 1-4 spots, but I think the Hornets, Rockets, Jazz and Nuggets are underated while the Lakers, Timberwolves, and Kings are way overated. LINK
I think the East Rankings were better than these. Here are the things I dosagree on:1) I think Pheonix will be better than the Spurs atleast2) Lakers are too high3) Twolves also too high4) Kings too high5) Nuggets are too low
I don't agree with the Suns ranking but I definetly understand and can live with it. Nuggest and Rockets are real low and I think the 5th, 6th and 7th teams are too high. Kerr did a much better job with the East I think. I think Memphis should also be higher.
IDK man. Pau is out the first month or two, and do you really think they can be higher than 12 in a conference with so many talented teams?
There really is no bad team in the west, anyone outside the top 4 can beat anyone on any given day. I think the Blazers have a nice little core of players and will give teams hell as well as the Warriors. Nate McMillan and Don Nelson can do it. The Jazz can beat anyone as long as Okur/Boozer/Kirilenko are healthy. Nobody is really that much lower than anybody. It's going to be a dogfight.
Warriors should at least be 11. I think we are making the playoffs if Baron is avalable for 60 games. Ellis and Biedrins will excel under Nelson and so should Murphy.
The Spurs will probably finish 3rd, they are getting older and older.Lakers are 5, maybe too high? I have no complaints though.Solid list, but I'm on New Orleans making the playoffs.
Lakers are way too high considering their only offseason acquisiton was Vlad. A good sign for them but 5 is just too high. I like to see my Spurs at #2. I honeslty think that it is a toss up to who will come out of the west between Dallas, SA, and Phoenix. I dont think anybody should count the spurs out yet.
Lakers should be 5th, they are a scary team when everyone steps up and does there role. I found the T-Wolves were extremely to high for a fact.

Yesterday he had problems with both knees. It isn't looking good so far for Amare this year.
Last season people doubted we could make playoffs. We've added some minor pieces but the biggest addition will be triangle experience. They won't finish 5th, probably 6th or 7th but it isn't as stupid as you guys think.Amare btw is apparently out for another 2-3 months

Plus with a year of tri experience on their belts, the team should be much improved. They were 7th last year, I don't think a 2 seed jump is too much.
