    Team Arod. If you weren't convinced that Selig is a total dunce before this debacle, you should be now. The while managing of how this is going down, releasing leaks and allowing your side to trade barbs through the media sure does make MLB look amateurish.

    ^ big difference. Arod is representing Arod. Selig is representing MLB. Both come off as petty but one does more damage to the sport. Selig has been a disaster.

    ...but Selig is not the one who's been popping off at the mouth...regardless, I'll reserve my judgment until after the ruling.

    I'm not rooting for Selig, and definitely not rooting for the biggest narcissistic asshole ever in baseball, Arod. However I am rooting for Baseball, the game and what it stands for.

    IMO, Selig is worse for baseball than Arod and while he is already on his way out, he needs to be called out on what a poor commissioner he has been. Two things that irk me most about Selig:

    - Selling us the 'chicks dig the long ball' bit while he followed McGuire and Sosa around during their HR chase, only to later chastise these players.
    - Hiring Mitchell to perform a fair and balanced exploratory report.

    I think Arod would have taken his suspension if it were in line with the others, and I hardly blame him for not wanting to be the face for some BS legacy Selig is trying to build for himself. He will forever be the commissioner who looked the other way. Don't try to sell us this witch hunt nonsense now.

    And that is why I said that I picked baseball over these 2 clowns. Neither Arod or Bud have acted in the "best interest of baseball". You bring up a great point about "Chicks Dig Longballs" mentality. It's always about the money. This game has made both men rich beyond there wildest expectations, but they both shit all over it...
