The Bucks gave Sanders a huge contract and he is far from worth it.

Police are looking into Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders' involvement in an alleged altercation at a nightclub, according to a source close to the situation.

Coach Larry Drew announced Wednesday night before the Bucks' game against the Cleveland Cavaliers that Sanders wouldn't play because of a "sore thumb," but also said Sanders is out because of an off-court incident Saturday night that is "under investigation."

"I have not seen him yet [tonight]," Drew said. "I don't know much more. You probably know more than I do. I do know that it is being investigated and that's the word I've got."

In a statement released Wednesday, the Bucks said the "matter is under investigation and Larry Sanders is cooperating fully."

Sanders, 24, signed a four-year, $44 million contract extension during the offseason. He's averaging 2.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 17.5 minutes through the Bucks' first three games. Last season, he averaged 9.9 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.83 blocks.

Before we jump to conclusions maybe we should wait to hear both sides. Leroy Butler (a former safety for the Packers who still lives in Milwaukee) apparently knows Sanders a little bit and tweeted out a few messages that makes it sound like Sanders got jumped.

    I guess we'll see.

There is no information there. There was an incident. He may have been involved. Just have to wait and see.

Of course, random ass holes never start shit with celebrities. [/sarcasm]

Take it with a grain of salt, but supposedly a girl wanted to take a picture with Sanders at a club, her boyfriend got jealous and away we go.

Probably nothing, but if anyone else read the Sports Illustrated article on Sanders last spring, you can see that the guy has major anger issues.

Major anger issues is an overstatement.

Um, did you read the article? Sanders himself says he has the Twitter name "Nappy Gilmore" because he has the same temper as Happy Gilmore, and has to calm himself down so he doesn't lash out in anger.

Perhaps "major" is overstated; perhaps it's not.

Yes I did, and I was just saying that I think saying he has major anger issues is an overstatement based on that article.

This reminds me of the time I had one of them anger episodes. I was driving my Pegasus and took notice of this wide eared school boy taunting me with candy. I swooped down to investigate the situation and to my horror, the candy was half bitten. I began to plea with this child to hand over his scrumptious morsel and he replied with a kind middle finger.

Through my rage, I grabbed a feather and used it to beat this little boy into a bloody mess. Realizing the feather was too light to cause physical harm and the boy was only 3, I began to dance dance revolution away. But I wasn't fast enough to out run the colorful peacock.

Quite apart from this incident, something's off with Sanders this season. The new coach seems to prefer Zaza (who is another big lumberer putting up good numbers) and Ekpe Udoh just came back as well. So no doubt quite a few teams are inquiring after Sanders' availability.

A few years ago, Przybilla would get Chandler mad. Chandler got thrown out once. Another time he got into foul trouble, so New Orleans lost.

So everyone on this board said, I'm glad we don't have that punk with anger issues. Except me. I said, he's just what we need instead of softies like Aldridge. Chandler soon was the #1 reason Dallas won a title. He won NBA Defender of the Year as a Knick.

When you say Sanders plays pissed off, that's what I want. Our PF Robinson's a tough guy too. He'll improve.

    This.

Though, I'm not what they'd look for in return. I'm not a fan of trading future firsts. I think CJ is the SGOTF, so that leaves.......

Do we want to win, or do we want a church team letting their cake bake.
