The Portland Trail Blazers are in the process of designing a new basketball floor layout that will be ready for the Moda Center in time for the 2014-15 NBA season, a source with knowledge of the situation informed CSNNW.com.

The new court design is expected to be a two-tone color scheme, similar to most modernized arenas, the source said. The current Trail Blazers’ floor layout has been the same for roughly 10 years.

According to the source, the new-look floor is one of few organizational enhancements that president Chris McGowan has in the works for the coming years.

Counting Antonio Harvey wouldn't that be a 3-tone?

I wouldn't mind some new jerseys as well.

I would hope they would have the paint actually be painted like this again.

    I hate the two tone.

More corporate bs wanting to be like others.

They are missing the mark on so many things.

They should put a light silver circle around the pinwheel in the center of the court.

I care more about whether or not we win than the color of the court.

I also hate the two-tone look. Currently our floor looks pretty classy. The two-tone will make it look trendy.

I hated the court that had a white center and free throw lines. It seemed sooooo blindingly bright.

I don't like the HUGE logo that either was or used to be center court though. But to be honest, I don't care what the court looks like, I care what the team playing on it looks like.

two-tone is the 2010's version of the 1990's "teal".

    This was my favorite.

This with herringbone would be sweet.

I don't think I understand what 'two-tone' means in this context.

That's the ugliest court I have ever seen.

This two-tone buisness has got to stop. Think about 10 years from now when these become outdated and people who were brainwashed by the media to think it was good looking see how shitty it really is.

I went back and looked, you type the word "media" in 85.3% of your posts. Either you were recently fired from that line of work or you own a tinfoil hat.
