Players who have had a season with over 6 rebounds and 5 assists per 36 minutes, while hitting over 40% from 3. Larry Bird (5 times) Fat Lever Jason Kidd Lebron James Small sample size, and all that, but is he doing anything so far early in the season that seems far outside of his abilities? Even with a reduced FG% and reduced scoring, he's pretty unique and special in terms of his ability to contribute in multiple ways.
Fat Lever was good. The only guy to ever do 20 pts, 20 rebs and 10 ast TWICE. http://bkref.com/tiny/N6ppV This guy rebounded like that at 6'3" and 170lbs. Same height as Lillard and 25 pounds lighter.
The first think I thought when looking at that list was "Oh, *that's* why Golden State went after David Lee."
If you want to think of him more than that's all good. I think he's a very good glue guy. I would never think he could lead a team to greatness. I think he's an important piece.
My definition of a "glue guy" is someone who does a little bit of everything. Claver is a great example of a glue guy. Batum does a lot of everything. That's why I don't personally think "glue guy" does him justice.

Maybe we call Claver "DGlue" as it appears he may only be Dleague caliber, can't really call Vic a glue guy when he is always ""glued" to the bench
