That was pretty fake, but at least it was original. I can't stand it when they have battle royal and two wrestlers fall at the same time and there's two referees and they can't agree and IT HAPPENS THE SAME EVERYTIME.
I actually think Sunny's referring to Brock Lesnar and Big Show's superplex when the ring collapsed. Obviously planned but played out very well.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Only like 40% of the time they actually cause pain on the other wrestler. Bumps take a toll on the body.
UFC can be fun to watch but I laughed when I heard someone refer to UFC as 4 minute hugfest on the ground. Because at times, it's true and can be boring.
Ugh, I used to watch UFC, well try to.I didn't like it. It was pretty cool for a Lil bit, but then got boring.WWE is just fun to watch, IMO. DX is funny as hell and JC always kicks some ass.Hate or love it, I think it is pretty cool.
I'm one of the biggest wrestling fans you'll ever find. It really is an art form...well a performance art anyway. After hearing that most people think I'm crazy, because they immediately think of how "fake" it looks. Most people don't realize there's so much more to wrestling than the WWF/E. I currently hate WWE more than just about anything. Their matches for the most part suck, their characters are worse, and their storylines lack any sort of logic whatsoever. Vince McMahon is more into making awful movies than he is a solid wrestling program. If you want to see real wrestling, watch matches of guys like CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Kenta Kobashi, KENTA, American Dragon Bryan Danielson, Austin Aries, Low-Ki, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and many more. Watch promotions like TNA, RoH, and NOAH if you want to see the best talent alive today. The reason wrestling isn't as popular as basketball or football is because people don't have a physical relationship with it. Everyone knows what it's like shooting hoops or catching a pass. They can relate to it when they see it on TV. Not many people can relate to being lifted off their feet and slammed onto concrete or on a canvas mat. That's why wrestling has always had to rely on theatrics to get the public's attention. Also, the reason wrestling is pre-determined is because it's really boring when it's real. I like watching MMA as much as anyone but until Royce Gracie started taking people out real fights were boring as hell. Anyway, if anyone wants to talk wrestling just drop me a line.
^Great post  Nice to see someone who appreciates some real wrestlers. Someone that really watches the wrestling. Not for the push or fame. John Cena, Batista, ect to be examples.I currently im not to happy with the WWE eaither. So many things that are wrong with the E right now its not even possible to post. The main reason I still watch WWE(90% of the time Raw) is because it was a big part of my childhood growing up. Its just something that is a Monday night thing for quite awhile for me

But I have to disagree, they have potential if utilized. Right now, it's so in vain to WWE at times I gave up on it. I think hiring Vince Russo doesn't help and this stupid VKM work is embarassing. Impact could deliver some great matches, yet they hold it up for WWE style storylines and use over the hill talent over some of the younger stars. Sting, Jarrett need to take a backseat, also having Abyss right now as their champ is sad. He's a spot monkey imo and a rip off of past big men. It's tiring to watch and they went as far to put a belt on him.
I agree with you on some of those points Rok. TNA has A LOT of things that need to be fixed, but right now they're the best wrestling show in America. Sting isn't what he used to be, but he's still a big name that attracts WCW fans. Plus, he can still have decent matches; nothing great, but he's not a complete embarrassment like Hogan. Jarrett actually has stepped aside. He hasn't even appeared on Impact since October. I guess he really does care about TNA and isn't an egomaniac like Triple H and Hogan. Vince Russo has been a mixed bag, but lately I think Impact has improved. The Paparazzi Championship Series has been hilarious. AJ Styles, Abyss, Chris Sabin, and others actually have well defined characters now. Overall TNA seems to have a real direction now with ongoing feuds as opposed to just a variety of matches being thrown together every month. I won't lie and say Russo's effect has been all positive, God I hate pole matches, but he's really added something to TNA's product. VKM can be amusing and annoying, but at recent WWE events "VKM" chants have broken out. Their skits and promos actually remind me of the Monday Night Wars. I'm not saying I like what they're doing, I'd prefer that time be used for something else, but some people obviously do. As for Abyss being the champion, I don't like it that much either, but the guy is one of the best big men in wrestling today. He's definitely better than Batista, even though he relies on the hardcore environment to have a good to great match.
I'll name all the old school wrestlers that I loved back when I gave a sh*t about this garbage:GoldbergAndre the GiantThe RockStone Cold Steve AustinThe UndertakerStingRey MysterioBooker TVince McMahon

They're trying to acknowledge the WWE when they should be worried about their own promotion. WWE isn't going to get involved, so it seems like a wasted stunt. On topic, who here is going to watch WSX on Mtv? I'm going to give it a shot, the promo actually looked interesting. But 30 minutes for a wrestling, going to be tough but seeing spoilers, they're putting 5 matches per show it seems. Oh and F*ck Teddy Hart.

I mean their main event guys are Vamipiro, New Jack, and Sean Waltman. That's some pretty wacky stuff. It'll be cool to see Teddy Hary, Jack Evans, Matt Sydal, and Jimmy Jacobs as well. I guess Jacobs is part of an Emo tag team called Do It For Her. That'll be interesting to say the least. Also, I'll give anyone 2-1 odds that New Jack ends up stabbing someone within a month.
I myself can't stand the WWE stuff. It is so fake and the actors are terrible. I just can't sit myself through it. One time I tried and K-Fag (Spear's 'ex) was on the thing, what is he doing there? So that is when I told myself I would never even attempt to watch any type of WWE again. But the video games are fun.
