As part of the UFC’s historic 20th anniversary celebration, prior to the weigh-ins, UFC Fight Club members can attend a Q&A session with UFC Hall of Famers Royce Gracie, Mark Coleman and Dan Severn, plus Art Jimmerson, who was submitted by Gracie at UFC 1 in 1993. Doors for the Q&A open to UFC Fight Club members at 1:30 p.m. PT with the Q&A taking place at 2 p.m. PT. http://mmajunkie.com/2013/11/12/ufc...egas-gracie-coleman-severn-jimmerson-host-qa/ It is assumed that the UFC will have a few things planned regarding their history and honouring past fighters and people involved with building the UFC.
Re: Some UFC 20th Anniversary details slip--Jimmerson, Gracie, Coleman, Severn involv While these guys and other fighters from the early days of yore will be in attendance for the event, including some fighters from the first season of The Ultimate Fighter (rumoured), the UFC will not take time to honour them during the broadcast. They think that ceremony would interrupt the flow of the event. Instead they have some private events and things for them. Kind of odd that Dana White is doing it that way but w/e. UFC founders Art Davie, Rorion Gracie, and Campbell McLaren are expected to be in attendance. Bob Meyrowitz declined his invite.
