Monroe reminds me a bit of Cousins. Maybe not quite as good as Cousins, but without the attitude problems.

Still don't think Smith fits with those two. He does if he hits his 3's, but for the money they paid him I would have gone a different route if i was Detroit. But they did pick up a nice asset they can trade.

I remember when Singler and Love played against each other in the state championship. Singler sure turned out to be a lot less talented than Love.

$hit. I was surprised he became a player in this league at all, Love for that matter too (All-Star at least). White Powa.

Singler is a valuable role player type. Great defense and knows his role.

How much were you actually focusing on his defense in this one game?

Last year as a rookie he puts up 15/10 and 5 against us. He's no chopped liver.

Good win, but stop with the Detroit is a good team crap. They are 2-4 with both wins at home.

They have played a tough schedule though.

They almost beat OKC and gave us a hell of a game. I think they are going to make the playoffs in the east.

If you guys haven't noticed, our team plays teams and beats them at what they are good at. What I mean is they figure what teams are good at defensively and attacks it. I don't know if this is intentional, but if it is, it's a great way to demoralize a team.

Yeah their losses are to us, OKC, Indiana, and in OT to Memphis. They may not be great but they are definitely a playoff team in the East. Hell Right now Boston is the 4th seed........

Overall a lot of parity in the league this year. A few good teams and then everyone else. Even Utah will end up winning 15-20 games (90% of them at home)

Joel Freeman flat out-played him. At no point was I ever saying to myself, "They ought to sit Joel so Robinson can get in there and fumble shots at the rim and blow defensive assignments." Joel just has an air of competence about him that Robinson (and Leonard) could really learn from.

Saw the the blazers are the third most efficient team on offense behind only Miami and the Clippers. Can somebody explain what they mean?

Hopefully he was apologizing for making Paul, the city and the organization look like complete asses.

Ortg is points per 100 possessions, which (mostly) takes out the effect of pace. When you take a lot of 3s and make a lot of 3s it really helps your efficiency, which is what the Blazers are doing.

btw, we're up to 2nd now.

It's pretty impressive how efficient we are offensively. I also love how Stotts is using Aldridge everywhere on the court. I realize why he is trying to establish Aldridge on the left block. Batum and Lopez are needing the right block to run their pick and rolls. I think Aldridge should work the right block when Lopez or Batum aren't in the game.
