and it will remain until this jackass remembers how to play hockey and stops giving up tons of scoring chances with stupidity.

It's time to consider that Girardi can't play in any system based on skating like AV's and can only play in an all defense/shot blocking system like he did with Renney and Torts.

Been saying it for a long time, he's been overrated by our fans since he's been here.

To me the bottom line is they should deal one of these dmen for a scoring forward. Whoever it is, Girardi or MDZ, is okay with me. They just need to deal some dman for a scorer IMO.

MDZ can make some bonehead plays but he's 23, can skate and fits this system better than Girardi. Girardi looks completely lost. Skjei might be NHL ready after this season and is said to be a future shutdown type. I like Allen and McIllrath by about mid-season to be ready. I'd trade Girardi.

Maybe they should cut his icetime but saying that he completely sucks and cant play in this system is overreaction.

No it isn't. He's sucked from day one this year. He's been awful and there is no defending it.

He has had some decent games this year and good at blocking shots still. He is well liked in the locker-room so if you trade him there might be an issue with the rest of the players.

The rest of the players can go f themselves. They have won nothing. They will play and shut the hell up. This isn't a locker room with tons of rings.

I would wait and see what you can get for him at the draft. Maybe they can move him for the first rounder.

I think DZ will get moved fairly soon, especially if his production dosen't pick up, I don't think AV is going to have a ton of patience with him. Even if Nash comes back they still could use another mid-level scorer.

They should go after Moulson. Lord knows the crappy Sabres need defenseman.

Wouldn't mind him. Maybe Fleischmann although he's signed for 3 more years.

Wanted Moulson the second the Islanders traded him. I would sign him during the season also. If they wanted MDZ they would have to give up substantially more in the deal. Something like

Moulson, Ott and their second round pick for MDZ, Pyatt and Pouliot. I'd prefer to keep Pouliot but you have to even out the money. Moulson and Ott are both UFA's at the end of the season. I would make sure before doing the deal that both will sign with the team. Our centers freakin suck at faceoffs other than Boyle. We could use Ott.

Buffalo wont make that trade if their gm has any brain. It's clearly one sided. If you throw in J.T. or some mid-level prospect like Hrivik then they may do it. I think they will hold on to both Moulson and Ott to get more at the trade deadline.

With Buffalo firing everyone today, I am sure they will want to take some time and see what they have before they make big moves.

New coach, Nolan. New head of hockey ops, LaFontaine.

    Regier finally out.

Pretty sure I started a trade dan girardi thread at the beginning of the season... his deadline value will be through the roof. Contenders always want rentals like Girardi and the haul for him will be great. At least a 1st rounder.

Do the Rangers have that one player who can put the rest of the team on his shoulders. It doesn't look like it. It seems like when the team struggles, they all struggle and they all struggled last night. But that's the way the Devils play. They don't have the skaters or the scorers, so they clog up as much of the ice as possible giving the opposition as little room to move as possible, and then try to capitalize on their mistakes. Rangers lost as a team last night, because plenty of mistakes were made at both ends of the ice.
