Nashville blows. They just took Jones. They aren't going to be good anytime in the future. I think you can surely trade a defenseman and a couple of forward prospects and get Weber. I never wanted him here but after watching the imbeciles on this team who can get a shot through, I'm warming to this idea. His contract sucks so you will have to buyout Richards in the off-season.

I agree a lot of our d-men cant get a shot through consistently if their life depended on it. Its been a problem for a quite awhile now.

Would take alot to get him, I don't know that we have enough without CK, McIlrath and 2 #1's in a deal.

Weber's cap hit is $7.85, perhaps Girardi & Brassard ($6.5 combined) + prospects. Cut Pyatt loose and the money's there.

That 7.8 hit goes on for a longggggg time (8+ more seasons). don't think that's the answer especially with an offseason approaching where a lot of number crunching will have to be done.

I would stay away from that long term contact.

While I'd love to see him playing his home games in the Garden, I think it's best to stay away from that contract. There will be other opportunities ...

It's too bad Phoenix is doing well, I'd love to make a trade for Yandle.

I'd stay as far away from Weber's monster contract as possible. Too many long term deals have failed by too many teams. I don't trust it, I don't like it.
