While in years past I really liked the way Giradi played, Dump is right, he's not doing so great in this new system. I wouldn't be opposed to a trade for a scorer right now(what Ranger fan couldn't do with more goals?), but I do think he'll net more at the deadline than now, unless it was to the Sabres, and that's only because...to be blunt, they are terrible and might make a bad deal that we get a whole lot for. Say what you will, but Sather's been decent at fleecing other teams in trades.

But, did I read that right, Dump actually gave Boyle a compliment? What happened here? God damn I hate not having the internet.

You won't get a 1st rounder for him but maybe a 2nd and a decent prospect.

Right now, I agree. If the Rangers and Giradi have a halfway decent season, they might be able to get a 1st rounder at the deadline, maybe with a package.

I already posted that about the farm rating Chuck and it's total horsecrap. HF is run by losers who hate NY. Never changes over there.

So you delete the thread because you think it is horsecrap? I am not saying I agree or disagree, but why delete it?

Robin Regehr got 2 2nd rounders from LA last year. Girardi could get that or maybe a #1

Girardi might be more used up at 29 than a lot of defenseman. He's played a lot of hard hockey under Torts who wanted him to use his face as goalie pads.

Once defensemen like him hit 30 its all down hill. Will still get his big money this off season... but at the expense of a boneheaded GM. My money is on Calgary.
