Hockey’s Future has ranked the Rangers 27th overall in their rankings of NHL farm systems.

They say that the Rangers strengths are having various prospects who look to be able to fill different roles at the NHL level.

They say that the Rangers lack depth at each position, the defense is in need of a puck mover and there is no prospect who has shown the potential to be a starting goalie.

HF does say that prospects Anthony Duclair and Pavel Buchnevich are high-potential prospects but at this point they are projects.

The Rangers were 17th in the spring.
