Out of all the years I've watched NFL, this is one of the nastiest things I've seen. Coming from a big Cowboys fan, it really made me mad to see a player stoop down so low and do such a stupid thing. But this could have been worse, they could have been playing on real grass, which means metal spikes instead of rubber. I hope the NFL guys think this over really hard before giving him his punishment. Taking blow like Gurode did to the head/temple can be life threatening. Its been replayed all day during some of the other games and half times. Most likely it will be on ESPN tonight. I found it harsh to watch it over agian
Re: Haynesworth stomps on Gurode's head Yeah, I watched this too. I'm a Titan fan and when I saw it I was like "what the hell is he doing?" Has to be one of the stupidest things I've seen someone do. Totally uncalled for. IMO, Haynesworth hasn't played to everyones expectations. He was supposed to come in here and dominate the d-line, but just hasnt. I look for a pretty big fine and suspension.

At least do it when he's standing and can potentially protect himself. This is like Marcus Vick stomping on that kids leg at the end of last year. Both classless morons.

I hate situations where "Oh, well you get 10 years prison", but if one thing had gone wrong the person would be dead and it's "oh you get life". Give them life for the reason behind the attack, not just the god damn result, because it can always be worse than it ends up being and what they get punished for.
