I think it's a point made in good faith that the break-down in defense, and bigs in foul trouble, is largely due to penetration from poor perimeter defense.

But clearly, I think trying assert both an epic failure, and it's cause being one player or one variable, is poor analysis - if not disingenuous. Not surprisingly, those kind of comments are often followed by the obligatory hope for future failure comment (e.g. when they come back to earth).

The elephant is that I must be ecstatic but Carlito isn't.

So what are the three easiest way to score in the paint? In transition, poor perimeter D that allows guards to easily drive from the 3, and the PnR. Three things we suck at, seems pretty self explanatory on why we allow so many points in the paints.

In other, more layman terms - Troll. lol

I agree though, IIRC both Lopez and Freeland had 3 fouls mid way through the 3rd (and Freeland had 3 by the end of the 1st half... it was early morning so I could be forgetting). So, even if the perimeter defense is letting them through, the inside help can't do much and almost has to let those PIP happen. Foul trouble kills any aggressiveness from our bigs. Thus, PIP goes higher for the other team.

There's a big difference between rep and rep power. Rep , for those that care, generally means more.

As for your posting, not to be a dick, but I work with numbers for a living. I know how it works. Its why I added the caveat "since yoiu joined". Admittedly, it was observation-based, not statistically-based. Honestly, surmising from your post quantity and your time here. Even the board's biggest whore (HCP) doesn't post with your voracity and frequency. Really, no disrespect. Just what I've observed.

You didn't watch the game, yet you go to your default "blame LMA" shtick.

In the end, it really doesn't matter. I do post A LOT.

And mine was a simple observation that Carlito is not universally liked here, so we were both doing the same thing. So it makes sense that the "longivity" is what plays the rep power.

The rep power, in the end, means nothing to me. lol. Just was my observation.

Yeah I wouldn't sweat rep power.

Besides, the real elephant in the room is HCP.

And I like to give him water.... like the movie.

The clapping defense is not working.

We're 8-2. It's working more than anything we did with JJ last year... Like invisible defender...

    The clap does work, though.

    Just ask HCP.

Synergy has us giving up .92 points per possession, which is good for #14 overall. We are #7 on offense at .95. I think our offense is sustainable and our defense has room/potential for improvement.

Looks like Dave Decker forms blazers edge agrees with carlito. This is from his recap guys....

The good news for Portland: 8-2 and another road victory, this one under unfamiliar circumstances. *The bad news: *opponents are starting to zero in now. *Toronto was aiming right down the throat of the lane from the first second of the first quarter. *They couldn't shoot well enough to make the defense play honest and thus faltered, but if you're Portland you have to feel a little bit like Cinderella hearing that clock tick. *The Blazers are getting great performances and pulling the fat out of the fire but the gap seems to be closing, the margin for error shrinking.

Dude, you need to get out of the house. Quickly! I'm not joking. Someone is in there with you. That Carlito guy you just mentioned is somewhere in your house! You both have the same IP address. It means you are both posting from the same place. Run! Hide! I am so frightened for you.

Sly, you are a (I'll save you the effort) SlyPokerDog.

Just when I think you can't possibly be any dumber, you go and.... TOTALLY redeem yourself by admitting those two are one and the same. Cheers, FAMS.

Ahh, fuck you. The wine message boards and saltwater fish message boards aren't the same. Everyone on those boards actually all know their shit and know it. They're all uptight.... what is that thing on the tip of the dick, again? Ahh, yes... The dick hole. I don't have much choice at the moment, admittedly. So fuck you, I have nowhere else to go where my ass hole ways actually are appreciated, and that's sad and good all in one. And thanks to mags for reaching out, ghey as he is. 8-2 also makes it more difficult to avoid this place.

But keep my name out your mouth!
