Or how about when kobe carried the lakers agains the spurs in the 2002 playoffs? Or how about when Robert horry bailed out Shaq when he couldn't make a field goal in 4th quarter of game 4 against the kings? Or how about when kobe bailed the lakers out agains the blazers in 2004? Or how about .4? Or how about the other countless times his teamates bailed him out because he couldn't preform? Someone needs to put this guy in his place. He is no MDE, mde doesn't get slowed down by Divac. MDE doesn't need a superstar guard to bail him out everytime it comes to the crunch. Infact every gamewinner I've seen shaq attempt his missed.

If you grew up like Shaquille O'Neal did, you would have a giant ego as well....If you grew up bigger than everyone else, dominated at everything...everyday being told your a prodigy and superstar...etc...Outside of the game Shaq is good to people and does a lot of charity and doesn't break the law so it's hard for me to not like him. I think you guys are making a big deal out of the quotes...he said I won the first 3 titles and my teammates won the last one for me (obviously he averaged 15 less ppg and had much less statistical impact...etc). We all know Shaq thinks he won those titles because of himself, this is nothing really new, he's always going to take more credit for it and minimize Kobe.

Shaq did win the first 3, that's why he won MVP all 3 times, not to mention a regular season MVP. Mr. Rape has no MVPs of any kind, except in Colorado(ohsnap!). Mr Rape and Shaq both have massive egos, but Shaq's at least in the community helping out, though probably for the wrong reasons. But yeah, don't you remember that high school vid, he was already a big star and he said(rofl): "I want to make 6.2 millions". Classic moments, especially since he makes 3x that as an aging 35 year old.

He had ALOT of help when he played for the Lakers and when he got those 3 championships. Sure, he was the best player and had the biggest impact on his team but he wouldnt have won it all if he didnt have Kobe and the few good role players that he had.
