    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Retirement of a Sort
After his narrow defeat at the hands of Nate Robinson last February, Iguodala says that he's done with the dunk contest.

"After the behind-the-backboard, there's not much else I can come up with," he told a Barcelona reporter.

Well, on behalf of basketball fans everywhere, this writer would like to thank Andre for that one moment in time, one of the most spectacular things we have witnessed in person, and wish him well in his dunk contest retirement.

Side note: Our favorite part of that dunk may have come just beforehand, when Allen Iverson looked over at Shaquille O'Neal and the other players sitting courtside, pointed to his chest and exclaimed, "I'm dunking!"

Iguodala's pick for this year: Gerald Green.</div>
I got this quote from another board, but they didn't provide a link. If I find out what the source was I will be sure to edit the post with a link.

But this sucks, I guess he doesn't have anything else in the bag of tricks. But he did get one thing right - Gerald Green baby!

He was supposedly pissed off at how retarded the judging was, and how retarded it was for the NBA to change the rules just because Nate was in the contest that year (which by the way HELPED Nate win the contest...). I'd be pissed too...

I'd be mad to, but an iggy/green match-up would be f'n sick.

So gay...I was really looking forward to him being in the dunk contest. Seriously, the judging was so gay and biased just because Robinson was short. They should have kept the old Dunk Contest rules.

I don't really blame Iggy for not participating in the dunk contest again. He was robbed last year and he probably doesn't want to have to go through that again...
