NBA Live is pretty good.- At the start up menu there is a small mix of the player on screen, It shows all of Kobes real life highlights in the right corner while your looking through the options.- The X-Factor mode is awesome. It takes a 6th man or role player and turns them into superstars for a short time, Before each game they give the X-Factor player, I played with the Mavs and it was Devean George, I played with Denver and it was Earl Boykins.Clutch players that take over whenever the game is on the line or when they're in the zone. They're not necessarily Superstars, but they can completely take over and dominate a meeting between teams when the time is right. This feature is known as "The X-Factor," and is based on how frequently the player can get involved in the flow of the game. This means getting them the ball, making shots and creating turnovers. Once these athletes are feeling the groove, players can trigger the X-Factor, temporarily turning into a Freestyle Superstar for at least 5 minutes. There's also a strategic feature to the X-Factor: players aren't forced to trigger the ability as soon as the athlete is in the zone, but to retain the option to become an X-Factor, the man on the court has to remain actively involved in the offense and defense.- The touch pass, It's a great way to get a fast break started.- Player emotions, They point to the bench, Bench players stand up and cheer, They bump chests, Pump fists, Everything.- Chemistry, If a player doesn't receieve playing time, His chemistry rating goes down. If you put Raja Bell on the same team as Kobe Bryant the overall team chemistry drops.Rating 7/10.
I got it too. Everything thing improved as usual except for, yes you guessed it, the gameplay! :ranting:
The dynasty mode is much more complex and interesting now.. even me as an experienced LIVE user, I'm still finding my ways around the new dynasty features.
But the features that balla named are those just for the newer systems or are they also for the older systems as well, even if you have a old system I can't see the game being much worse then how it is on the newer systems it still should be pretty good and basically have all the features.
The only thing that the current gen consoles are missing...is some signature shots and being able to play while the game loads..there might be more but I dont think its anything big.

My friend told me something about that. Damn, it sounds awesome, too bad it's only for 360 though.
Anyone have a 360 and can tell me which one to rather get? I don't want to weaste my money on the wrong thing.Or is it just one of those 'whatever your preference is' things? I guess what I'll do is rent both and see which I like better.

THey have a better enhanced streetball mode. Better and deeper association(3 team trade now included). Gamplay is much more realistic. You get the feel for the game
I like the LIVE games, But I was annoyed at how long it took to sim a season ith a team. Hiring coaches was a waste of time. And I liked it better when you didn't have to manually send out the scouts. Is 07 the same as this?
You still have to hire the coaches(scout, trainer, assistant, assistant coach). The new dynasty mode is way better though. You have your own mock draft and rumors area. You can check how happy the players are with the team events other players..and more things like that. You can make up the schedule for your team. For example, you decide wether they rest practice or have a media day...things like that.am I missing anything?
if you want a real basketball sim go with NBA 2K7 if you want something like an NBA arcade game go with Live....its like comparing Need for Speed v. Grand Turismo
Sorry if I bump this topic but im just in the mood to talk about Live 07. Any of you guys play online for ps2? I'd like to play with anybody. I wish like maybe some people could join leaguedaddy or something so we can play a full season or whatever.
lol you call your self miami heat #1fan but can't even spell dwyane wade right. Bandwagoners make me laugh. Anyways 2k7 is probably gonna be much better once again. I hate how unrealistic the gameplay is in Live. I like actually being challenged. I probably will rent Live though to see if it's much better than '06.
