Just got to lobby a bit here, write in Wes on the allstar ballot everyday folks. Having Raymond Felton on the ballot and no Wes is a crime against orange balls

Nets scored 98 points on about 109.5 possessions, so that should help our DRtg even more.

I have no idea if Brooklyn was subject to hard defense or old age. I didn't get to see the game.

Game of Thrones is far superior in many aspects.

Could never get into it. It was so boring. But, those types of shows are what seem to be in.

I saw the game. The nets shot insanely good in the first half and insanely bad in the 2nd. I don't think our defense really improved much. As for old age, who cares? They rolled the dice by signing extremely talented but very old players. So you're going to have significant injuries. They have had really bad luck right now, but it's likely they'll be very much improved later. Their problem even with all of the injuries isn't talent. If you'd have seen the game you would have seen one team playing gritty team ball while the other team basically played 1-on-1.

I didn't mean to offend; it's tough typing my thoughts on a phone while holding an infant. I'm uber-impressed with the resilience on display.

I'm starting to watch the replay now.

I thought Portland made a conscious effort in staying in front of their man in the third quarter and fourth quarter. And defensively, if there is a concern, it's a lil less so this evnieng.

All do respect. I have no idea what you were watching in the 2nd half. The Blazers made not only stayed in front of their man, but physically they were about as good as they have been all year on that end. Portland played a huge part into the Nets shooting woes in the second half.

This. The defense in the first half was...well...half assed. But, you could tell that they came out with a different energy level and determination in on the defensive end in the second half. I was actually really surprised by the tenacity of our guards on defense in the second half and especially Mo Williams of all people. He was being a complete pest to his man in the 4th quarter. I was impressed.

Mo Williams with 2 blocks! 6th man of the year and 2nd team all-defense?

Glad the FGA stat is also there. Looks like teams are teeing off against Lopez with over 10 attempts per game. Will be interesting to see if Lopez can get that number down.

Interesting to see people take 10 attempts a game at Hibbert. You would think people would get tired of trying. You're better off handing it off to Andre Miller and letting him take a three pointer than challenging Hibbert at the rim. lol

They're hugging people on the perimeter to overplay against the 3 begging people to drive. Attempts at the rim are unlikely to go down.
