Most Americans started saying that during the Bush Administration. Fox News likes to find poll results from liberal rebellions and claim they are conservative rebellions.

Classic. No matter how seriously Obama screws up, it's always Bush's fault. You guys really need a new set of talking points. Nobody's buying it anymore.

Uh, this poll was conducted by ABC News and the Washington Post, two bastions of the Left.

I guess that explains how Obama got elected in the first place.

It also explains how Bush got elected in 04, it explains how gay marriage has taken so long to be overturned/accepted, it explains why pot is still "evil", it explains why hemp isn't being used for clothing, paper, fuel, etc, it explains a lot.

Actually, you have to question the sanity or corruption that would convince 30% to say otherwise.

It's called drinking the Kool-Aid. It blinds you to the strikingly obvious.

    So, how does it taste?

Shooter, I've been arguing with you about politics since the first Bush administration and you have been consistently oblivious to the fact that this country has been on the wrong track... unless a democrat is in charge. You're all politics. If John McCain had been elected, you'd be singing his praises and defending him tooth and nail.

I love the Republicans that say "Obama sucks" and the Democrats responding to the Republicans saying that Obama sucks with "Bush sucked first". As if it somehow makes up for the fact our current president and his admin have been terrible, and have knowingly lied to the American Public. We as a country aren't going to fix ourselves by complaining about Bush and we he did. We need to focus on the now, and how to move forward. And yes, Republicans, Obama does suck. But merely saying he sucks and crying about it doesn't fix the problem either.

You don't think maybe that some people in that survey are dissatisfied or tired of the Republicans and the Tea Party? If not, after the elections next year I think it will be clearer.

I'm pretty sure at this point, the American Public is pretty much fed up with pretty much all of their elected "leaders". Next year's elections will be decided by people voting for people that most reflect their beliefs, not necessarily the better candidates. I think people lose sight of this difference a lot when making their voting decisions.

Only if they drastically change their talking points or just stop talking.

Re: populace tired of elected peeps. I think they are tired of OTHER elected politicians, not their own.

Do we know who the "potential" Republican candidates are at this point? I have not paid any attention.

For starters, you and I probably have very different notions of what it means to be "on the wrong track." For me, it means the growth of the federal government, tax increases, deficit spending, out-of-countrol illegal immigration, political correctness, loss of constitutional principles, and many other things. Those problems have been indeed getting worse over the years, and I have been fully aware of it. What is happening now however is a quantum leap forward into a black hole. And yes, I'm referring to Obama. He is the champion of all the things I mention above. He is a nightmare for the future of this country. I have no idea if the 70% of people in this poll feel the same way, but it's obvious that they think this administration is failing miserably, and if public opinion can do anything to stem the destructive reach of this administration, I am all for it.

If McCain had been elected, we never would have had Obamacare. We also wouldn't have had a President who told every lie in the book to pass his signature piece of legislation. However, I am not a big McCain fan and only voted for him to help prevent this socialist, marxist idiot we now have as a president from getting into office.
