Wouldn't it be the Rams luck to run the table the rest of the year and make a wildcard spot get beat early and lose any chance of decent draft picks. Well at least the skins are playing badly.

It would be great to make the playoffs, but as you say Ozark, we'd have to run the tables for that to be a possibility in a tough NFC. Once there though, anything can happen, as a mediocre Giants team proved just a few years ago. Worst case scenario is that we finish .500 again and get neither a chance at the playoffs or a high draft pick. At this point our best hope is for continued Redskin futility, since it looks like the Rams are playing better and will probably win a few more games, but I still don't believe they are a serious threat with Clementine at QB. (Not that they were with sit-down-to-pee Bradford either)

Well you may remember I said before the season started we would be lucky to be a 500 team. And that was when everyone was screaming playoffs. I knew we were not there yet. But I didnt know how bad we really were. This season is a write off the sad part is it will be blamed on the loss of Bradford. Instead of all the other glaring problems. :pimp:

Yep, and what's even sadder is if the Rams are respectable over the last 6 games, everybody will say "See, Fisher just needed some time" and we'll start the whole process over again next year. Bradford will again be back with his homey's and their excuses already loaded and ready to be fired. I don't want to be wishy-washy and keep changing my tune....I just have lost faith in Fisher, and never had any in Shottenheimer. I just suspect that Fisher will get us to mediocrity and then keep us there, year after year after year....just like he did in Tennessee. That would be the worst case scenario....no playoffs and no high draft picks. His record is a few good seasons, but mostly mediocre teams and always near the top of the league in penalties, which indicates a lackadaisical style of coaching without any discipline or accountability. I've always been more of a proponent of the Tom Coughlin style of coaching than the "I want all my players to like me" and coddling styles of Wade Phillips and Norv Turner. Heck with that. I want a contender, or a lousy team to get high draft picks to become a contender. Don't need a middle of the pack team....lost in no man's land.
