I don't know what he's bitching about, especially when things have changed in the NBA in terms of rules, uniforms, courts, three point line. So why all of a sudden, a ball angers Shaq? Only reason he can be mad is it'll probably make him shoot a worse percentage at the free throw line. I also want to see how the ball is played before I can completely judge the ball but right now I'm just not understanding the change. Furthermore, Rok, the rules have changed alot. 10 years ago there was more scoring, less fouls being called then there is now.

None of the rule changes really hurt Shaq though, so there isn't a reason to go after them. I'm just having trouble understanding why he doesn't like it, he has huge hands so grip shouldn't be a problem.

I'd like to see him proved wrong.If you ask me he's just having his little period or trying to get the spotlight back on him and away from the rising superstars of tomorrow.

But it's not one of those things that drastically alter your game. You just adjust to shooting and handling the ball, simple for the average joe. Can't be hard for professional ball players. Jason Terry made a comment about the new ball and said it sucked as well. Said he couldn't palm the ball. I think an adjustment period will be needed as the ball is used more and more. I watched the Hornets training camp session on NBAtv and they seemed to be shooting/handling the ball as a normal one.
