    Unsurprisingly Erick Perez is desperate to get on the UFC Mexico card. Got to imagine Perez on the Mexico card would be second only to Conor McGregor fighting in Dublin next year in terms of fan support.

    TJ Grant is around but the UFC doesn't seem to know what to do with him at the moment.

    DFW doesn't want Cerrone to drop to featherweight and doesn't understand why he's thinking about it. DFW says that Cerrone never listens to him regardless (referencing Cerrone's propensity towards extreme sports and bull riding in the off-season).

    The UFC can figure out a day, time, and place for the rematch, but both fighters need to sign-on. From the looks of things GSP isn't ready.

    It makes no sense. The guy complains of symptoms of brain damage and the UFC is rushing the rematch? Are they trying to have him get KO'd and push him out the door?

    We don't know what was said in the private conversation between DFW and GSP though. Maybe GSP is ready to fight again in the next 6 months? I don't know what the deal is with Hendricks' knee injury, he says he'll be back to training this Friday. How is the rematch gonna go? Will GSP figure it out and dominate? Or will Hendricks go full bore and finish what he started?

    It will be the fight that determines whether or not GSP is an over-the-hill champion or if he can still put on a dominant performance. His record in rematches is impeccable (5-0, 3 knock-outs/1 submission).

    I thought he was retired but apparently Rich Franklin wants to fight one more time. I don't know who would be an appropriate opponent for him. It's been a year since the Cung Le knock-out. Mike Bisping?

    Rory MacDonald is thinking that the Lawler loss did him some good. He didn't make any excuses for his performances this year other than to say he was disinterested but says the fire is back. He says he has another fight booked waiting to be announced. Ariel Helwani speculated that it might be against Demian Maia.
