I can't imagine the pain he's been through the past few months. First is 6-month-old son died in his sleep and now this. I'm suprised he isn't having serious depression

Even if you've just gone through a tragedy, you need to use your brain.
He lost a son not a daughter bballinyao06. And why are we talking about how much money he had on him? When this guy robbed him, he didn't know how much cash Lamar was carrying. I doubt very seriously that Lamar was walking around yelling, "I have almost $5000 worth of stuff on me". The guy had a gun pulled on him. It's F'd up no matter how much cash and/or jewelry he was carrying. I agree with Something-To-Say, this has been a terrible summer for the Laker.

I don't know about you, but I would not carry $300 through Queens or anywhere else really. You don't have to shout out that you have money if you are wearing a nice watch and so on. That's one of the reasons I dont like New york. You cant walk at night without being mugged or even worse killed.My mom was mugged 7 times in 4 years when she was studying at NYU.
