Most likely scenario IMO: Win a tough one v. da Bulls; get out bombed at GS. If no Curry, that should tip the scales in our favor, though.

I'm thinking the opposite. At home against the Bulls scares me. The Blazers first game back, the Bulls are playing great, one day rest since an exciting trip, the Blazers just got done playing their worst game that they still won. GS also worries me, but the Bulls I think are going to be the bigger triumph this time around.

Good thing dogs don't have cloven hooves or our deli would never get off the ground.

is it too simplistic to say if we make 3's we win, if we don't we lose?

I didn't realize that, awesome. Hopefully we catch one of them tired and looking past the Blazers.

I think its fine to say that. When you boil it down that seems to be the essence of our offense and of how we win.

I didn't see the stats from last nights GS vs Memphis game, but I bet the Grizz just POUNDED the ball inside! We dont have a 1,2 punch like them, but we do have arguably one of the best low post bigs in the game and should use that. No reason to fall into a 3 point shooting contest with those guys.

Other than Stotts relies on the 3 ball as the primary offensive weapon

Agreed. But what would you respect more MM, Scott's sticking to his 3 point guns or adapting to the opponent?

That would seem to be the "keys to the game". All our games.

This is why GS scares me more than any team outside Miami. They are better at what we do best. (Or, without looking at stats, they sure seem to be.) At the very least they can get on a scary hot streak with their relentless offensive pressure and bombs away style.

I have always been a proponent of making the other team adapt to you. I just wish the offense threw the ball inside more often. most teams don't win by shooting threes, primarily

    Hollinger's Power Rankings:
    GS/Blazers/Bulls are 4/5/6.

    Should be interesting.
