Well, I had Live for about a week now. I already gave my review. I just went to Wal Mart and bought NBA 2K7 10 minutes ago. I will let you know when review later tonight, I have to see what the hype is about. This is the official thread.
Well, NBA 2K7 is going back tomorrow. The only thing that impressed me was the signature shots. The gameplay is the EXACT same thing as 06. The player intros/announcers are identical. It's basically paying money for sig shots and updated rosters.

Besides, I had to play Morrison in some game.
2K7 is growing on me, I see some new animations with the passes, The computer is much smarter. If they have an open jumpshot or lane they take it.I am keeping it afterall.

Have any of you tried Street Ball yet in 2K7? Not the 24/7 mode but just streetball!!! You could actually do streetball moves which is a real nice addition, like you could bounce it off the opponents head, do a 360 spin with the ball and put it between the opponents legs...theres alot more moves and dribbles just experiment with the buttons its pretty cool.I havnt owned an NBA 2K game since 2K3 so 2K7 is a new breath of fresh air to me
I really didnt think there would be any significant changes to 2K7. And I was right. But there is a reason. NBA 2K7 was made for the basketball fan. Live was made for the gamer. Im pretty happy with the subtle improvements and havent stopped playing it for about 4 days straight. This is comming from someone who was ranked #1 on NBA 2K5 in Xbox Live for 5 months straight.
I'm looking forward to getting NBA Live 07 I've been playing that series since I was three-years-old and I have every one from 97 to 06 (except for 2002 because at the time I didn't have a PS2. Normally I get Live on the first day it comes out but I'm in Mexico and have no place to buy it.
I got Live last night. Gameplay is much different than 06'. My biggest issue so far is the weak camera views.

Now you cant just hold the turbo button and dunk now its more realistic and slow than last year.
I didn't like 2k7 when I first got it but now I love it. I started off 9-3 on superstar mode with the pistons and than restarted my whole franchise monday and now I'm 4-0 on Hall Of Fame mode. I keep my roster the same, I think its way harder to win without 5 superstars on your team. I don't like the camera view in 2k7 though, I usually play on 2k camera view and have the height and zoom at 5-1 or something like that and I tried that on 2k7 and its too high so I got it on 1-1 now and its still too high. I like the lower views it makes you seem like your really playing. I also hate the ticky tack BS fouls they call on there but other than that I got no complaints.

Well I guess they made it too realistic with the BS calls.
Quick question for some of you 2k7 users... how in the hell do you delete those damn messages in Association mode? I have like 30 messages that I've already read and don't want to see them every damn time I go to my little e-mail thingy...
