<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Wolves the best team in the League? What an idiot. :ranting:</div> It's called the CB4 confidence. How can you dog him for having the same attitude.
yeah. I cant dog him for being confident. You have to think like that. You ever think MJ, Tiger woods or roger federer ever thought "hey that guy/team will beat us this year" ? NO the first part of winning is actually believing you can win!
MJ WAS on the greatest team, and Woods and Federer are the best at their sports..Quite the difference. The Wolves will be fighting for a playoff spot.
That is true. But I was using them to make the point that winner never doubts thier ability to win. MJ wasn't the greatest when he hit "the shot" in college - he just had un-erring belief in himself. My point was that he(mike james) HAS to think positive. Other wise failure is assured.
Until you believe that you are the best, you can't be the best. That's the mindset you need to be successful at anything.
Yeah, what is he supposed to say? "we're gonna be the worst team this year, might as lle give up now"?

He is very egotistical and the T-Wolves dont have a chance in hell of being the best team in the league. What he said is very cocky, not confident. Saying something confident IMO would be classified as something like this "Our team is looking really good, I think we have a great chance to be a solid team this year". Something like that...
<span style="font-family:Book Antiqua">How is having confidence stupid? That quote is nowhere near stupid.</span>
I like his "spirit". Of course we all know they arent(even if KG can hit thress). Foye and Mccants, along with Davis, James and KG would have to become stars. 1st rnd playoffs, thats it, and only because Memphis wont be there.
There is a fine line between cocky and confident. I consider that cocky. I hate Mike James that's why I have a club of Mike James haters. Mike James has never been a winner. He has played for way better teams in the past and they never went far. So what makes this team much different? They are not strong in the front court this year and they don't have the best guards in the NBA.Best Guards: Randy Foye, Ricky Davis, Troy Hudson, Mike James, Marko JaricI don't think any of these guards will ever make all-star in the NBA. They are far from being the best team in the NBA. They might not even make the playoffs again. I guess all we can do is see if Mike James can back up what he said. I don't think he can
Haha well he sure has his confidence....maybe hes just trying to get the team going lol. Could be trying to give his WHOLE team the cocky confidence.
