Funny stuff. Read the comments at the end. Now, were it me, I'd figure how many times we had sex, multiply it by $60 and pay her accordingly.

Lottery winner sued by girlfriend who says she deserves a share
11/12/2013 This spring, Pedro Quezada, above left, won $338 million in the Powerball jackpot drawing. (Cue fanfare.) But the celebration probably didn't last long for the New Jersey man, since he's now being sued by his former girlfriend, who argues that she deserves a share of the winnings because the couple shared an income; they co-owned and ran a grocery store together. Ines Sanchez and Quezada lived together for 10 years, but Sanchez moved out last month. Sanchez' attorney says that because Quezada bought the ticket with money the couple earned together, Sanchez is entitled to share the winnings. But, the couple were never married, which complicates the case. The lawsuit is still pending, but a judge has declined to freeze Quezada's assets to prevent him from spending the winnings.

I guess some of this will depend on whether or not New Jersey is a Common Law marriage state.

If you look it up a bit further he claims a lot of it is already in the Dominican republic and millions of it are "lost". he's going to get everything out of the US before this goes to trial and disappear.

Then I'd say that guy probably has a decent shot at keeping his money.

Because the moment you do, it's an admission that she is entitled to half. Is she?

The article above says she wants a share. It doesn't say half. That's just rude and bad "karma" not to give her anything. Sounds like they built a live together. Now that he has a lot of money and wants a different life separate for her doesn't mean he shouldn't at least give her something.

We don't know the true story. But I'm sorry, the moment you give money, you would warrant half. Only until she agrees to a contract, she can have some money

$338 million, for free. And know for the rest of your life that deep down inside where it really counts, you're a dick.

    or

    $169 million, for free.

I'm sure if instead of winning the lottery he was arrested and had to make $50,000 bail for one reason or another she'd be offering to pay half, right?

Edit: I'm not sure I even understand what I just wrote
