Re: It's about time... I dont know if he will still wear the mask. maybe it will be harder to now since he has a cleancut. the sweat may cause a bit of a distraction in the mask. if he wears it
Re: It's about time... He looks different without the braids but I know the trouble of having braids so I don't blame him for cutting them. Rip will still wear the mask from my understanding, he might not wear it in preseason but once regular season comes he should have it back on. I think he's going to stick with it the rest of his career or atleast for the next few years.

Re: It's about time... I think Rip will wear the mask whenever he plays. Last year when he was asked about it, he said he really doesn't need it, but views it as somewhat of a good luck charm and hes used to it. Believe it or not, it would take more of an adjustment for him to loose the mask than to keep it on.

Re: It's about time... I heard about this a long time ago that he shaved the braids off. He looks good with the style, he needs to trim the goatee down though. It goes back to the UConn and earlier years of his NBA career.
