Ever lost a loved one? Wish you had never loved them? Or glad for the good memories?

If the only goal as a Blazer fan is to win a title, then one should never get too excited about any season.

I'm enjoying watching good basketball, which is all I really care about during the regular season.

I'll always love sheed, I like guys with attitude, shows they are passionate. I overlook his stupidity for the good times he had.

As far as the team right now, Aldridge all the way.

We gettin' all 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' here? Of course I've experienced loss and wished to avoid pain, but in time glad for the experience overall.

I embrace the joy and pain of being a Blazer fan.

Every now and then, I go back and watch Brandon Roy's miracle 4th quarter against Dallas. Sure, the Blazers lost that series, but in my case as time has progressed, the joy I derive out of that one moment in time far outweighs the team losing the series.

Moments like this are why I'm a fan, and why I love the only real reality TV ... sports.

Thanks for letting me relive it whenever I choose, pinwheelempire!

I have more Sheed Jerseys than any other blazer player. Lma is #2. I think Aldridge will be the best blazer forward to ever play the game. I also think we have a shot watching a title with him at the helm.

Seriously?! No we all want a title as a fan, but reality grounds us to know only one team is a champion. There is nothing wrong to be a fan of a team through the hills and valleys. Obviously your need to bring in no chemistry players because you think you need superstars to win titles.

I agree...I think LA is laying the foundation of that right now. And I know many feel this is Damian's team. From everything that I can see...this is LA's team so far this season.

    What we know...

1.) Our team looked pretty bad when Aldridge wasn't playing.

2.) Aldridge is our leading scorer.

3.) Aldridge is our leading rebounder.

4.) This team needs Aldridge as much as they need Dame.

I'm not taking anything away from Dame or the team for that matter, but our success is on the shoulders of Aldridge right now. Dame may take over soon enough, but it's not now.

BGD just pisses me off sometimes. It's like he hasn't learned shit! We've done this "best team that money can buy" and it took us 10 years to fully recover. Using Whitsitt as some reference of what Allen used to obtained Olshey is a fucking joke. Olshey was hired because he's good at evaluating talent, finding good chemistry and keeping us out of salary cap hell. Something Whitsitt couldn't do.

Then this bullshit of wanting to trade now during our 10 game win streak is another fucking joke. Let other teams try and ruin their teams. We got something special right here!

    Good points.

I think it's obvious this retool and how it's being seen out is built around LA.

Without Aldridge's ability to demand doubles in the low post, we'd only be as good as Golden State. Aldridge is probably the best post player in the game right now. All our shooters benefit from Aldridge.

He can make the same impact and actually there are moments he reminds me of Duncan. But he can make the same impact on this team Timmy D does for the Spurs. Does he have Tim's hunger and desire? Probably not. If he did, he would be undisputably the best PF in the league. But he is giving me reason to believe atleast so far this season...that he does have a heart and it does matter.

This is why I am sooooo happy for the good start. Winning builds confidence. I think Aldridge, especially after hearing his interview with Casey, leads me to believe he thinks something really special about this team. It's driving him to be better, to rebound and defend. The scoring was never the problem. His desire to be the best was.

If we could muster up something like a 25-4 record, it will unleash LaMonster! I 100% believe this.

This season its not even close, they need Aldridge far more than Dame. Mo has been good off the bench he could fill in as a starter if need be. Nic can help setup the offense. We have tons of shooters on the roster. Heck we even saw Earl Watson make some nice plays as an emergency backup. But if Aldridge goes down we'd have TRob playing 30mpg with Lenoard as a backup? Our team would be in a lot of trouble. We don't have any bigs who can play in the post except LA.

    (Knock on wood)

Hopefully Aldridge is the one player that doesn't go down this season. We are onto something here!

I def feel they need LA more than Dame. His size and presence and what he is able to do isn't replaceable on this team. Some of the things Dame does is replaceable and can be found by Mo Williams and CJ McCollum when he returns. LA is important.
